Gempa di Padang jam 17.16, gempa susulan 17.58, esoknya gempa di Jambi jam 8.52. Cuba lihat Al-Quran, demikian sms yang beredar atau emel yang diterima. Siapa pun yang membuka Al-Quran berdasarkan fakta tersebut, pasti akan merasa kecil di hadapan Allah SWT. Demikian ayat-ayat Allah SWT tersebut:
: Dan jika Kami hendak membinasakan suatu negeri, maka Kami perintahkan kepada orang-orang yang hidup mewah di negeri itu (supaya mentaati Allah) tetapi mereka melakukan kedurhakaan dalam negeri itu, maka sudah sepantasnya berlaku terhadapnya perkataan (ketentuan Kami), kemudian Kami hancurkan negeri itu sehancur-hancurnya.
: Tak ada suatu negeri pun (yang durhaka penduduknya), melainkan Kami membinasakannya sebelum hari kiamat atau Kami azab (penduduknya) dengan azab yang sangat keras. Yang demikian itu telah tertulis di dalam kitab (Lauh Mahfuz).
: (Keadaan mereka) serupa dengan keadaan Firaun dan pengikut-pengikutnya serta orang-orang sebelumnya. Mereka mengingkari ayat-ayat Allah, maka Allah menyiksa mereka disebabkan disebabkan dosa-dosanya. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuat lagi Amat Keras siksaan-Nya.
Tiga ayat Allah SWT di atas, yang ditunjukkan tepat dalam waktu kejadian tiga gempa baru-baru ini di Sumatera, berbicara mengenai azab Allah berupa kehancuran dan kematian, dan kaitannya dengan hidup bermewah-mewah dan kedurhakaan, dan juga dengan keadaan Firaun dan pengikut-pengikutnya. Ini tentu sangat menarik.

Anas mengunjungi Aisyah, di dalam majlis itu seorg lelaki bertanya: Wahai Ummu al-Mukminin, “ceritakan kepada kami tentang gempa bumi? Beliau berkata: Apabila perempuan menanggalkan pakaiannya di tempat selain dari rumah suaminya, terkoyaklah hijab (pendinding dari azab) yang antaranya dan antara Allah. Apabila perempuan memakai bau-bauan bukan untuk suaminya, baginya neraka dan kehinaan, .. apabila dihalalkan zina, meminum arak dan memukul alat muzik. Allah berfirman kepada bumi gegarkan mereka? Sekiranya mereka tak bertaubat dan meninggalkan maksiat, mereka dibinasakan dengannya oleh Allah. Anas bertanya : Apakah itu hukuman terhadap mereka?” Aisyah menjawab: “ianya rahmat, keberkatan dan peringatan kepada orang mukmin. (dan) ianya siksaan, kemurkaan dan azab ke atas orang kafir

Seni Dari Pandangan Islam
Agama Islam mengharuskan perasaan cinta kepada kesenian dan keindahan. Allah sentiasa menyeru manusia supaya memerhati keindahan yang terdapat dalam alam ini. Tamadun Islam telah menghidupkan pelbagai jenis seni dan seni-seni ini telah berkembang dalam tamadun Islam sehingga menjadi tamadun Islam sebagai sebuah tamadun yang unik dan berbeza dengan tamadun-tamadun lain. Al-Quran menceritakan keindahan langit (Qaf, ayat 6), keindahan bumi yang terbentang luas (Qaf, ayat 7), keindahan kejadian haiwan ( al-Nahli, ayat 6), keindahan ciptaan manusia (al-Taghabun, ayat 3 dan al-Infitar, ayat 7-8)
Islam adalah agama yang berdasarkan realiti kehidupan. Ia memainkan peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia keseluruhannya sama ada aspek rohani, jasmani, pemikiran ataupun perasaan. Islam menuntut agar unsur-unsur ini dilaksanakan secara keseluruhan dalam skop yang sederhana yang dibenarkan oleh agama iaitu tidak telalu boros dan melampau dan tidak pula kikir dan sempit.
Seni adalah sebahagian daripada kebudayaan. Din al-Islam meliputi agama kebudayaan, maka dengan sendirinya kesenian merupakan sebahagian din al-Islam. Ia juga diturunkan untuk menjawab fitrah, naluri atau keperluan asasi manusia yang mengarah kepada keselamatan dan kesenangan.
Firman Allah yang bermaksud : “Wahai anak-anak Adam, pakailah perhiasan kamu ketika waktu sembahyang. Makanlah dan minumlah dan janganlah kamu berlebih-lebihan. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengasihi orang yang berlebih-lebihan.” Katakanlah “Siapakah yang mengharamkan perhiasan Allah yang dikeluarkanNya untuk hamba-hambaNya dan rezeki yang baik.” (al-A’raf, ayat 31-32)
Perhiasan Allah menggambarkan unsur-unsur keindahan yang disediakan oleh Allah kepada hamba-hambanya di samping unsur-unsur manfaat yang terdapat pada makanan yang baik.
Keindahan itu sebahagian dari seni. Ini bermakna Islam tidak menolak kesenian. Al-Quran sendiri menerima kesenian manusia kepada keindahan dan kesenian sebagai salah satu fitrah manusia semulajadi anugerah Allah kepada manusia.Seni membawa makna halus, indah dan permai. Dari segi istilah, seni adalah sesuatu yang halus dan indah lagi menyenangkan hati serta perasaan manusia, tidak kira sama ada ia ciptaan Allah ataupun yang dihasilkan oleh fikiran, kemahiran, imaginasi dan perbuatan manusia. Dalam pengertian yang lebih padu seni adalah nilai halus, indah, baik, berguna dan bermanfaat kepada manusia.

Aku berkisah di jalan penuh berliku pada jam 5.00 pm. Tetapi dikala kena jem yang teramat sangat, jadi perancangan untuk berjumpa dengan programmer agak tergendala rancangannya. Tetapi, tatkala itulah masalah menimpa. Takpe la. Maybe dah ketentuan terjadi. Jadik aku meneruskan perjalanan pada jam 7.00 malam melalui KL Sentral. Dan seterusnya, aku mengubah haluan untuk terus ke Cheras. Dan pada malam 1.00 pagi, aku ke Kampung Baru bersama abg aku, adik dan best friend aku. Berjumpa sahabat Polis kami disana. Makan nasik goreng cina ngan teh tarik aku kat sana beb. Boleh lah. And then, kami teruskan perjalanan untuk pulang ke rumah. Kemudian, dekat Jalan Tun Razak pulak ada road block pulak. Dah kena jem lagi…. and teruskan perjalanan lepas road block tu and sampai lah di rumah lepas antar zarul kat rumah dia..

Semalam merupakan hari penuh dengan kesedihan, kepiluan, kekabutan….
Aku tak pergi kerja semalam….ahhhh…apa nak yang berlaku ni…..
Pening-pening…….
Aku “URGENT” balik kampung semalam…apabila mendengar kedukaan dan ketidaksihatan nenek aku….
Aku sedih melihatnya kerana dia tetap nak buat kerja walaupun tau yang dia tak sihat…
Apabila mengalami penyakit lupa, sakit kaki, darah tinggi dan sebagainya…
Hati kami sekeluarga bagai resah yang tidak berkesudahan….
Pulak pada semalam juga….
Ada cerita kabut yang menimpa…..
Ada pulak cerita “Mak Sedara” aku dipinang orang….
Aduhhhh….bagaikan kesedihan + kekabutan = jadik pening dibuatnya….
Mungkin inilah yang dikatakan “Setting dari Allah”
Allah melihat segalanya…aku redha dan pasrah pada semalam….
Membuatkan diriku lebih mengenali erti syukur dan redha dalam diri….

Having posted a few R35 GT-R features so far I thought it would be interesting to see how the most affordable supercar on the planet is actually put together. It’s not often that manufacturers let you wander around their production lines, but Nissan has nothing to hide and gave us an in depth tour of how a car of this caliber comes together.

It all begins at the Yokohama plant, where the mighty VR38DETT is put together. The GT-R’s engine couldn’t have been assembled in a better place as this is where the RB26 and S20 engines of the two previous generations of GT-Rs were made. Away from the automated production lines where the MR motors are built, destined for use on smaller Nissan and Renault vehicles, is a separate climate and humidity controlled room. This is where a team of takumi or “specialist” skilled workers create the most powerful production car engine Nissan has ever built.

As soon as the prepped VR38 engine block enters the clean room it is placed on a rig and a single technician takes care of building it from start to finish, as he moves around the various areas of the room where different build steps are carried out. It reminded me more of an F1 workshop than a run of the mill car factory, perfectly exemplifying how much Nissan have put into the GT-R project. It takes about 200 minutes to built one engine and at the time of the visit production was set at 27 units per day. With the GT-R now on sale in Europe there is a good chance engine production may have increased to meet demand.

Here is a technician showing us the aluminum intake plenum, a part that has been carefully designed to provide a balanced flow of air to each of the VR38’s six cylinders.

Once each engine is produced it is placed on a bench dynamometer where a series of power and torque checks are carried out. At the same time each engine is put through a brake-in cycle which lasts 60 minutes, something that needs to be done to guarantee it will perform as it should straight out of the box. From the Yokohama plant the engines are packaged and sent to one of Nissan’s biggest plants up in Tochigi-ken, which is precisely where we headed next!

Like the engine, the Borg and Warner GR6 dual clutch transmission, arrives already built to the Tochigi plant. It is all one piece with the rear differential housing, while on the opposite side you can see where the two propeller shafts will be connected to.

Both the front and rear subframes assemblies are build off the car on special rigs. Here you can see the rear being put together along with the gearbox, suspension arms, hubs and brakes.

Once everything is put together the front and rear suspension is laser-aligned and then lifted from the rig and brought to the production line to be fitted to the car.

The GT-R is assembled on the same production line as other Nissan premium vehicles like the Cima (Infiniti Q45) and the Skyline (Infiniti G37),

After painting this is one of the first steps of the build process. You can see the wiring loom ready to be installed in the bare-metal interior.

Specially molded body protectors are applied to prevent scratches and damage when the cars are being built.

The front pipes of the exhaust system were being fitted here along with the wheel-arch inner liner. Just look at the size of the front brakes!

Engine ancillaries are then addressed, like the radiator overflow tank being fitted here.

Once the R35 is completed it is put on a rolling-road for the first set of tests. The cars are driven up to 120 km/h to check everything is working fine. Once this test is completed…

…the cars are driven onto the brightly lit quality control line where fit and finish, body tolerances and paint quality are meticulously looked at.

The interior, engine bay and trunk areas are also checked over, as well as door and trunk operation.

It is then off the production line and to one side of the factory building where the cars wait for their final tests.

One by one the GT-Rs are driven out onto the test course that wraps around the factory grounds. Here a group of testers drive the cars to check that everything is working as it should as well as taking care of some bed-in procedures. These are done to brake-in the Brembo brakes and the clutches in the GR6 dual-clutch gearbox. To do this the cars are lined up, accelerated hard up to the top of third gear at which point the tester goes hard on the brakes keeping his right foot planted on the accelerator.

This is repeated a few times after which the cars are taken back into the factory to have the clutches adjusted and tolerances checked.

With the cars built, run-in and final checks taken care of they are prepared for pick up. It is then off to the dealers where they will be delivered to their new owners. Despite the engine, drivetrain and brakes having been run-in properly Nissan still suggests owners take it easy for the first 2000 km, something I’m sure would be a torture to do!
Next up it’s off to Sendai Hi-land to sample the most extreme R35 GT-R to date, the SpecV.

While the Proton Saga EV Green Propulsion Concept stole the lime light in University Putra Malaysia for the “Proton Exora – The Making” seminar, the national car maker also took to the opportunity to showcase the Proton Exora Prestige Turbo Prototype.
It is basically the Proton Exora Prestige Concept which was first previewed at the Exora’s official launch event, but now fitted with a prototype turbo powerplant.

The turbo engine based on the 1.6 liter CamPro powerplant was built in-house, without the input of Lotus. Which means, the engine mostly features aftermarket parts to turn it from a normally aspirated motor to a turbocharged one. It’s useful to test the durability and reliability of a Campro block when force inducted.
The production turbocharged powerplant for the Exora is being co-developed with Lotus, and sources reveal that powertrain engineers will soon leave for the UK to intensify the development.

The powerplant featured in the Prestige Concept shown above is said to produce up to 270 horsepower, and with a torque figure that is rated at about 350Nm. (UPDATE: Now that I think about it, this quoted figure seems a little over the top. While no doubt it is possible especially if you strengthen the engine enough, it is not practical for production use so the production car will not likely be tuned to such extents as there is a high possibility for lots of turbo lag and the 4-speed Mitsubishi automatic transmission must be struggling with the torque.)
A source revealed that the turbocharged Proton Exora MPV could most probably hit the market by between end 2010 to mid 2011. Honestly for me despite many customers eagerly waiting for a more powerful Exora, later is better as it means more time for testing, and a turbocharged production engine is something very new for Proton.
The production turbocharged variant will very likely offer less than the 270 hp and 350Nm performance figures mentioned above, but even if it ends up producing anywhere in the region of 170 horses and 240Nm of torque, that would be a big leap already as it would be equivalent to a normally aspirated 2.4 liter engine, but with peak torque coming in at a much lower RPM.

It wipe out one major issue that the current Exora has, which is a lack of go. The 1.6 liter Campro CPS that is currently being offered with the Exora produces 125 horsepower and 150Nm of torque. Proton also revealed that the Exora Prestige Concept is being sold to selected VIPs that have placed orders for the extra-luxury variant.
